Zentangle Drawing — Book
This Zentangle drawing with a Chinese character “Book” in the middle was created using pen and watercolor. Since the character is filled with black and white Zentangles, I used a blend of more vibrant colors to surround it. This is just like how some people see the stories in books as black and white while others dive deeper and discover a more colorful world.
Beyond the Window Series
I also drew a sketch of a kitchen view with atmospheric perspective. The curves of the kitchenware made the image more interesting. I then took a picture of the drawing and edited it using Photoshop to add the red parts. The smoke-like human figure is pointing to the tiny red window and gives the drawing a sense of story and peculiarity.
This is a sketching of a tilted perspective looking out the window. The window frames are blurred from being upfront while the houses in the back are in more detail. Portraying an everyday view but from a unique perspective, this drawing indicates how we should look for different angles to discover something brand new.

These includes digital art practices of body structure, color, hands, and drawing anime characters. I hope by doing more of these practices, I could improve my digital arts drawing over time.
